The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him. (Nahum 1:7)
When things get tough, we all have a tendency to try to find a solution. We rack our brains and ask our friends for advice. We work harder. All of this in an attempt to solve our own problems and heal our own hurts.
But we do not have to do this. God is a willing and ready refuge, just waiting for the opportunity to offer the peace and help that we need. All we have to do is ask. He loves us and will never forsake us.
If you are struggling with something difficult, whether it is something personal with your marriage, your family, or your faith, or it is something outside of yourself, like the violence and uncertainty of our world today, then lean on the one who knows all. His advice, delivered in times of prayer and in the whisperings of the Holy Spirit, will never lead you astray.
We may not always understand what happens to and around us, but if we trust in the Lord, he will take care of us. He is our shepherd and will always lead us to his Heavenly Kingdom. All we have to do is believe.
Your faith is the key to the peace and respite that you desire.
Have an amazing Monday!
